Modification ProposalsTheme: „two general forums for conversation ( english for chessage )”
Currently I'm trying to reorganize the page. There will be a few more features (such as invitational tournaments) but this will take a looooong time as I'm also changing the database structure to be more flexible in the future. I think it's a good idea to put in a general forum in the new version! Greetings, Artur

artur: i like this site...it is a good site and takes the game of
chess seriously and yet it is still fun for low players like myself but
may i suggest that it lacks an entertaining conversational forum
on non-chess matters. the chat box is ok but it is mostly filled with
german speakers and a chat box by nature is only good for 2 or maybe 3 at a time and it is just not really aimed at threads...could
we have just have two forums..one for fun ( with a smiley face )
so that everything posted is understood by context to be all in
fun and one more serious ( so if you don't want to see politics or
other such more serious issues you can just not log in to that forum
( it need not have a sad face just not the big smiley of the fun forum )
this site needs a community..the chat room does not create a community.. could we have some thoughts on this ?
